OH, WHAT A NIGHT!!!
What does a group of over 200 enthusiastic parents and students do on a cold December evening…. Play Bingo “en français s’il vous plaît”!
A snappy start, a spectacular French English “Bienvenue Welcome” video starring Core and Late French Immersion French students, and a quick bilingual banter of words by the principal and vice-principal led into a roaring rendition of “Those are some French words you already know” melding into a high energy rendition of “Alouette”… laughter, elation, “joie de vivre”… it’s time for French Bingo!!! Game after exciting game of French Bingo!
“It was priceless to see the kids helping out their parents with the French… seeing the face of the kids, those expressions, the joy… priceless”. “This was great… we have to do it again next year!”
Several new CPF memberships sign-up, a grand winner of a stunning gift basket courtesy of Shoppers Drug Mart Capilano Square, plus winner after winner of tremendous prizes donated by very generous individuals and companies rounded the evening.
But the greatest winners of all are École Boundary’s French students who will receive the educational benefits of the more than $1,200 raised during this fun awesome evening.
